Formation of the folk-instrumental education at the Kharkiv Institute of Music and Dramà
The article is concerned with the formation of the education system in the field of folk-instrumental perfor-mance in 1920s in Kharkiv. The objective formation factors became enlightening orientation of activity of the amateur domra and balalaika orchestras in Kharkiv in the first decades of ÕÕ century and its support from the government agen-cies, which was based on the awareness of moral and educational nature of the folk-instrumental orchestral performance. Its subjective formation factor became V. Komarenko’s professional activities in the field of the folk-instrumental or-chestral performance and organizational work of directors of Kharkiv Institute of Music and Drama Ya. Ya. Polferov (1924–1925) and S. P. Drimtsov (1926–1934).
