Formation of film education in Uk raine (1916–1929)
The author makes an attempt to summarize and systematize the fragmented and little known factual material, wich was extracted from archival sources and associated with one of the most interesting periods of the history of national cinema (1916–1929). Definite dynamics in development of cinema edu-cation – from economically motivated activities in the prerevolutionary period to state control of education in the postrevolutionary time is traced.
