Art as a form of social consciousness: identity, knowledge, social cohesion

The article is devoted to consideration of art as form of social consciousness in the knowledge sociology paradigmal framework. The author focuses attention that art, participating in a producing of social knowledge, thereby becomes an agent of a public consent fab-rication and in a limit case – identities. Specifying that the industry of a fabrication of identities and of a public consent sharply commodifies and becomes internally competitive, the author comes to a conclusion about change of the place of art in the above-stated processes.
